Miranda Russell

Miranda's early years of theater training taught her to find and deliver the story within the song. She is considered by many to be a moving vocalist and nuanced performer, and her concerts center on interpretations of the music of the great songwriters of our day. She commits fully to every song and her lively stage presence continues to make her a much sought-after performer.

Miranda is an internationally seasoned vocalist celebrated for fully committing to the story being told within every song. With a background in theater from Emerson College and classical voice training in New Orleans at Loyola University's acclaimed College of Music, her concerts feature inspired interpretations of great songwriters.

Her career spans stages from Boston to Brussels, headlining prestigious New England venues including sold-out runs at Gloucester Stage Company, the Shalin Liu Performance Center, the Cabot, and the Larcom Theater. With critically acclaimed CDs and thousands of views on her YouTube channel, Miranda blends her diverse background and intuitive musicality into captivating live shows.

Whether interpreting the Great American Songbook or a stripped-down folk song, she "will knock your socks off — should you be wearing any this close to the beach" (Boston Phoenix).

While she remains a sought-after performer, her musical career has become her third-place priority, following her devotion to her family and running the bustling and popular Russell Orchards in Ipswich, MA.
